  • Who retains the copyright of photographs shot on this tour?
    Of course the photographers retain copyrights of the photos shot by them. However, no commercial usage of photographs is possible, due to issues like Model release etc. Participants on this workshop/tour will sign an agreement to use photographs shot on this tour for non-commercial areas and to promote their photography only. Xploring Light reserves the right to restrict usage of photographs shot on this tour as per the agreement.

 

  • How many Models are going to be on this tour?
    Keeping in mind the limited time we have, two models are flown in to the location along with a world-class make up artist. Every photographer gets mentor’s attention and an opportunity to shoot both the models at different days/times. While the participants are not shooting, they are engaged in assisting activities, which help the photographer in action. At no given point in time more than the decided no. of photographers will be in action.

 

  • How does one travel to Goa?
    There are regular flights from all major cities to Goa. Your travel to the hotel on your own. Once you are in Goa, your stay, food, internal transfers and all other official expenses are included in the tour.

 

  • What photography equipment do you suggest one should carry on this tour?
    The beauty of glamour photography is that any kind of lens works wonders. However, a good quality wide-angle lens, 50mm prime lens and a tele-photo zoom lens like the 70-200 should be ideal for this tour. If you have an idea of your own to execute, you may carry suitable equipment with you.

 

  • How many participants are expected to share a Room?
    All participants are accommodated in twin-sharing rooms. Single supplements are charged extra. Please enquire with us about your single supplement charges.

 

  • Are there any discounts?
    Currently there are no discounts. We may launch some promotional limited time discounts, which will be announced as, and when we decide on that.

 

 

  • How different are tours and photo tours?
    Unlike travel agents who plan your holiday from a remote destination to places some times they haven’t even experienced themselves, Photo Tours are innovative ways to experience a place through the guidance of a professional photographer. Most of our photo tours are fun with a lot of learning and knowledge sharing. Moreover, your group consists of photography enthusiasts only making your experience more focused.
