Overview of the Photo Tour

Goa is the most favoured holiday destination for most tourists not only from India but from abroad as well. Popularly known as “Perl of the Orient”, Goa is located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan. The magnificent scenic beauty and the architectural splendours of its temples, churches and old houses have made Goa a firm favourite with travelers around the world. But then Goa is much more than just beaches and sea. It has a soul that goes deep into unique history, rich culture and some of the prettiest natural scenery that India has to offer. Because of its popularity and relaxed atmosphere, The Footmarks have made this destination a permanent feature in our calendar for Photography Workshops.

In this beautiful and scenic Goa, The Footmarks offers you a platform to learn Glamour Photography from the famous celebrity fashion photographer and shoot international models.

The Glamour Photography workshop at Goa is spread over 3 days and is vouched by the photography enthusiasts, as by far the best. It not only gives you an opportunity to shoot international models but most importantly helps you hone your photography skills by shooting under the mentorship of maestro Rajneesh Panwar and Jassi Oberai.

Detailed Itinerary

17^th Feb. 2017 – Arrival in Goa. Since people will be reaching Goa from different places and at different timings, no pick up has been arranged. All are expected to reach the hotel latest by 1 PM. We will start with the theory session on this day itself at 4 PM with initial 1 hour being assigned for some basic tips (this is an optional session) followed by a session on lights, beauty, concepts, aesthetics etc. by the mentors.

18^th Feb. 2017 (1^st Half)– The first shoot begins at 9 AM after the breakfast. The preparation for the shoot viz. make up etc. will start early at around 8 AM and the briefing of the workshop will also start simultaneously. Everyone is expected to pay attention to the briefing done by mentor. After the set up, all are expected to observe mentor set up the shot and shoot initial pose. First 10 mins is just an observatory session where no one is expected to shoot but just observe and ask questions, if any. The main shoot involving each participant will start after this and it is important for all to listen to and follow the instructions given by the crew. This is to enable everyone get justifiable time in shooting the model.

18^th Feb. 2017 (2^nd Half) – Post lunch we start preparing for the 2^nd shoot around 4 PM. The routine will remain the same as in the 1^st half.

All are expected to submit 1 pic each from the morning shoot latest by 10 PM for review and a surprise element to be announced at the venue itself.

19^th Feb. 2017 – Day starts early at around 5.30 AM since this will a Sunrise shoot. This will be last practical shoot of this workshop and on a third different concept. We finish the shoot around 8.30 AM and after breakfast, we get together for wrap up and certificate distribution. With this the workshop will come to an end.

Important: We will have a review session on Day 2 on the photos clicked by the participants. Each participant will be allowed a discussion on his 1 pic and we do hope that by the time we are through with everyone’s pics, almost all problem areas would have been taken care of.
