Get a glimpse of what’s in store
Kashmir is the jewel of India and for some India’s answer to Switzerland.
Kashmir – a valley between the Great Himalayan Range and the Pir Panjal mountain range, is known for its simplicity and pristine natural beauty.
Surrounded by the snow-capped mountains, Kashmir leaves an everlasting impression on one’s soul.
While there is a lot to explore in Kashmir, in this tour we will focus on some key areas around Srinagar mainly to capture the breathtaking snowscapes and life of locals on old city along with the Dal Lake as well.
Your Travel Document
DAY 01 (Jan 15) ARRIVE SRINAGAR
After arrival at the Srinagar International Airport, we drive towards the world
famous Dal Lake and check-in at the House Boat. We spend our evening discussing the tour and individual requirements over hot Kehwa. If time permits we will do some shoot as well. We stay overnight at the houseboat on the banks of the Dal Lake.
DAY 02 (Jan 16) SRINAGAR Exploration
We spend the whole day exploring Srinagar. We will be covering some non touristy spots purely from photography purpose. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03 (Jan 17) Srinagar to Gulmarg
After breakfast we leave for Gulmarg to witness the snow clad mountains. On our way to Gulmarg, we stop at the Panoramic View Point for The Sunshine Peak shot. After reaching Gulmarg, we leave for a Gondola Ride (optional) through the Pine Forests. We stop at Kongdoori Mountain for some shots from the height of 3,747 m (12,293 ft)
On our way back, we capture some Shining Shots at the view
point again for Greater Himalayan range sunset. We witness Nun Kun- Zanskar
Range, Sickle Moon, Kolohai, Brahma peak. We spend rest of the day shooting minimal snowscapes of Gulmarg. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 04 (Jan 18) Gulmarg Exploration
We spend the day exploring Gulmarg and create stunning snow-scapes. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 (Jan 19) Gulmarg to Srinagar
After an early morning photography session and breakfast, we move to Srinagar. We will spend the day shooting some amazing spots in Srinagar. Sunset shoot in Dal lake. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
DAY 06 (Jan 20) Srinagar Exploration
Early morning, we take a stroll to the Floating Market. After a quick shoot, we head back to the hotel for breakfast. During the day we explore different spots to create stunning snow clad vistas of Srinagar. In the evening we capture the Sunset at Meena bazaar or the famous Char Chinar. After sightseeing we head towards our hotel and spend a relaxing evening on the banks of Dal Lake with a cup of Kehwa. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 07 (Jan 21) Srinagar to Aharbal
Among the most popular tourist attractions in Kulgam, the sheer magnificence of Aharbal, located on the River Veshav, is a sight to behold and befitting of its sobriquet – ‘Niagara falls of Kashmir ‘The rumble of fierce white water gushing through, amplified by the tranquil environs, are like beats of nature that merge into a pool of calm, azure blue water, after the 25 metre fall. This one promises to mesmerize all avid photographers. Return to Srinagar and overnight at hotel.
DAY 08 (Jan 22) Srinagar Exploration and Departure
Early morning, shoot whatever we could not manage in previous days. Return to hotel for breakfast and departure.
We end this mesmerizing tour and return to our respective places with fond memories and stunning images.
How to Reach
You can reach Pushkar using any of the following three options:
By Air: Nearest airport is Ajmer and/or Jaipur. You can take a cab from there to reach Pushkar. Distance between Ajmer Airport and Pushkar is around 55 kms and it takes around 1 hour to reach Pushkar by cab. Distance from Jaipur airport to Pushkar is 150 kms and it takes around 3.5 hours to Pushkar by cab.
By Train: Nearest Railway station is Ajmer. You can take a cab from there to reach Pushkar.
Distance between Ajmer Railway Station and Pushkar is around 15 kms and it takes around 30 minutes to reach by cab.
By Road: You can drive to Pushkar from Delhi. Distance between Delhi and Pushkar is around 370 kms and takes approx. 7 hours to reach Pushkar.
