DAY 01 (Jul 08) ARRIVE LEH
Arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport (This must be one of the MOST SENSATIONAL FLIGHTS IN THE WORLD. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.) Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize.
Day 02 (Jul 09) Hemis Festival – Post breakfast we drive to Hemis Monastery to cover the most beautiful Hemis Festival. Visit Shanti Stupa in the evening. Overnight at Leh.
DAY 03 (Jul 10) Leh– Turtuk (190 kms. / 6-7 hours)
Post early breakfast we leave for Balti village Turtuk via Khardung La. We do not stay at Nubra Valley but instead drive straight to Turtuk – the last village in India. Post Breakfast we depart to the Baltistan Village Turtuk – the last village in India. You will be greeted by Shyok, a turquoise river which snakes through the valley and crosses the Line of Control to enter Pakistan. At the end of this trail, towards the Indian side, is the tiny little hamlet of Turtuk. On arrival, check into the camps. After lunch we head to do photography of beautiful people of Turtuk. Overnight at Camp.
DAY 04 (Jul 11) Turtuk to Nubra Valley (77 kms / 2 hrs.)
We start the day doing photography in Turtuk and depart for Hunder post breakfast. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldumra or the valley of flowers. It is situated in the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. The average altitude of the valley is 10,000 Ft. above sea level. Upon arrival in Nubra we check in at our Camp / Hotel in Hunder for Overnight stay. We do photography at silvery white sand dunes of Hunder. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
DAY 05 (Jul 12) Hunder to Pangong Tso (165 kms / 5-6 hrs)
Post breakfast leave for Pangong Tso. The route is dotted by many photography spots where we will stop and create some images. After the long and exciting journey, finally you can have a sudden view of the Pangong lake situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of its running the other side of the “Indo China Border”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After the success of 3 Idiots, this beautiful natural location has attracted more tourists from all over the world. Upon arrival we check in at our Camp near Pangong lake. Dinner & Overnight at the Camp.
DAY 06 (Jul 13) Pangong Tso to Leh (221 kms / 6 hrs)
Wake up calls by the migratory birds this morning. Indulge in the walk beside the lake or go for your photography splurge. Arrive at Leh in second half. Evening free. Overnight in Leh.
DAY 07 (Jul 14) Day in Leh We spend the day in Leh. It will a day of some relaxation and talking about everything including photography. Overnight in Leh.
Day 08 (Jul 15) Check Out and Transfer to Airport
We checkout as per the flight timings and catch our respective flights with fond memories of this exciting tour
